Decision

Claimant, an inmate appearing pro se, moves for relief that may best be described as an order allowing him an additional 90 days to respond to the defendant's demand for interrogatories. The State of New York (hereinafter "State") does not oppose the motion.

Claimant seeks additional time to respond to the State's discovery demands. The State has indicated it has no objection to this relief and, as such, the court will grant claimant's motion. That having been said, however, claimant is advised that in the future he should first attempt to obtain consent to an extension directly from the Office of the Attorney General which might obviate the need for court intervention. Finally, claimant is advised that he should exclude from all future papers all extraneous comments having nothing to do with the pending matter.

Accordingly, in view of the foregoing, it is ORDERED that claimant's motion for an order of extension of time, Motion No. M-68636, is GRANTED.
