Decision

The following papers numbered 1-2 were read and considered by the Court on claimant's motion to compel a settlement meeting:
Notice of Motion, Claimant's Supporting Affidavit................................................1

Attorney's Opposing Affirmation and Exhibit..........................................................2

Claimant seeks an order of this Court transferring claimant within the Sing Sing Correctional Facility to bring him closer to defendant's office to facilitate settlement meetings with defendant and to compel such negotiations. The Court is without jurisdiction to compel settlement discussions, nor will the Court direct an inmate's transfer to facilitate such discussions (see, Rose v Goldrick, 130 AD2d 564).

Motion DENIED.
